Rózsa Balázs,

Free IP addresses of SZE students

I would like to draw your attention to some of the conditions of a free "first" (standard) IP address.
Someone is entitled to an IP address of this type if:
  • moved into the dormitory, and signed the contract of moving in,
  • has no debt towards the Dormitory,
  • study status is active (active or absolved in the Neptune system).
Students who have a passive semester or have graduated are no longer eligible for this service. If they continue their studies here they can request the extending of the validity of this IP address in the error reporting area until the status is recorded in the Neptun system.

Rózsa Balázs,

Network maintenance in the central campus

Due to maintenance works on the network devices on Sunday, September 27, between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm, Internet service will be suspended at Központi and Multi dormitories.
The outage also affects cable and wireless services.

Thank you for your understanding!

Rózsa Balázs,

Change of Wi-Fi credentials

Dear Students,

From the 7th August 2019 the login data that is used on the "kollegium" network will change. During this year there were several problems with the university server that deal with those user ID which are used on the eduroam network too, so that is the reason why the NetClub introduces its own system.

In the future, each student user ID will be generated when you log in at the internet.sth.sze.hu website at the first time, wich will be send by e-mail. In every case, the Neptun code will be the user ID but you can change the password freely at any time at the profil menu of our website. The new user datas will work only from Wednesday.
In this regard, we would like to ask everyone that on Wednesday, both on your phones and computers made the "kollegium" named network forget and after that you should re-connect but with the new data this time.

We have updated the FAQ menu concerning to the Wi-Fi network, so please read it before you report a problem:

In the case, you have problem with the use of the new data, please report it at our error reporting website in the usual way:

Best regards,

Rózsa Balázs,
